Welcome to the Bayanihan Fil-Am Club of Tucson, where our journey began in 1990 with a passionate group of Filipinos dedicated to fostering a sense of community in Tucson. Initially established as a social club by visionary founders Mr. Ed & Mrs. Purita Tobias, Mr. Roger & Mrs. Linda Delos Santos, Ms. Cynthia Hermann, Mrs. Susan Klein Malovic, and Mr. Faustino & Mrs. Patricia Balderas, our roots delve deep into the cultural tapestry of the Philippines.
From its inception, the club has evolved into a dynamic force, placing a special emphasis on showcasing cultural presentations and organizing engaging events within the Filipino community. In 2015, our commitment to community service and cultural enrichment led us to attain 501(c)(3) status with the invaluable assistance of Mr. Charles Giddings, Esq., operating under the leadership of Bayanihan President Josie Jarlego.
Today, as a thriving 501(c)(3) organization, the Bayanihan Fil-Am Club continues to grow and diversify its offerings. We have expanded our range of activities and events to better serve and strengthen the Filipino American community in Tucson.
